Hard Things.

Thou hast declared unto us hard things, more than we are able to bear.

1 Nephi  16:1

How much truth can my soul bear?

How much hardness do I dare?

Lord, increase ability

In me to hear and learn and see.

For I’m a child, an infant squalling,

When I know thy voice is calling

Me to higher purpose by

Hardships that I think too high.

Thy path is true but complicated;

It must be walked and not debated.
