My Way

I’ll go my own way.

I’ll make my own bed.

I’ll do what I do;

New paths will I tread.

Don’t waste your sweet breath

On vending advice

To this nonpareil –

It won’t turn out nice.

And if I succeed

With joy and with glee –

You can bet your long life

No one’s more stunned than ME!
